Masks and Sanitizer

There is a saying in kannada ‘attege ondu kaala sosege ondu kaala’. There is a time when mother in law has good time and a time when daughter in law has good time.

With Corona Virus pandemic many such good and bad times are seen by different businesses. The product which is in highest demand is face masks.

We didn’t buy face masks ahead of others as initially WHO kept on telling masks are needed and should be worn by health care staff only. It’s good that I didn’t buy at that time. I hope the masks which I would have bought must have reached some health care worker.

But now in Virginia they have made it mandatory for the public to wear masks if you are shopping for groceries. So we had to buy masks.

Masks are not available in any shops, and amazon the waiting time is long.

So here my husband got a link to order and we finally got it delivered yesterday. I can’t believe we paid $65 for four masks and a sanitizer!!

Kuser Mansion Christmas tours at Kuser Mansion

Kuser farms have been hosting christmas tours since many years. This picture is from our visit in 2019. Here is some latest events happening at Kuser mansion.

Kuser Farm Mansion will be open for tours starting Saturday, March 18, 2023, through Saturday, October 21, 202, from 11 am to 3 pm. The last walkthrough tour will start at 2:15 pm. We will be open every Saturday and Sunday with the exception of April 9th for Easter. Please call 609-890-3630 for information.

Klondike – Sandwiches classic vanilla

My 2 year old son liked the Sandwich icecream at a friends place. I did not note down the brand name at that time. Next time when he asked for Sandwich Ice cream, I bought this one from Target on parsonage Road Edison.

But this one was not really of good quality. It must be the way it was transported and stored. The biscuit/cookie  layers had lost their freshness and looked like wet papers.

I am not buying this again. This post is a reminder for me not to buy this again.
