International Courier – Telangana

I am happy that we have an International Couriers in Medchal Telangana. Some of the pro’s and con’s

Pro’s

  1. They come to your home collect things.
  2. They are available on phone / whatsapp
  3. They charge reasonable amount

Con’s

  1. They say they will pack in front of you, but they did not pack in front of me.
  2. The staff who came to my house were not knowledgeable enough to understand what is allowed and not allowed in the package.
  3. They told me I can send lighting balloons and took it along with the greeting card, but only greeting card was sent, and I did not get back the lighting balloons.
  4. They said it will reach in a week, but later said we said it will reach in 6 working days. My card was supposed to reach before Christmas but it reached few days later.

Thanks Giving Shopping

I just thought of listing my Black Friday or Thanks Giving shopping for my reference. Then I thought of making it a blog post as it can help others and I can look back to it in future.

Even though I was reluctant to do any shopping because I have too many things at home, and only two years of visa 🙂 Still ended up buying few things because of a whatsapp group where in people discussed available deals. So here is my shopping list.

  1. $40 Alexa dot and fire Tv stick from amazon
  2. $20 Bella Air Fryer from Macy’s
  3. $59 Bought Instant pot from Macy’s but now found it for lesser price on Amazon
  4. $20 Samsung Memory Card 128GB from Amazon
  5. $20 Toy Guitar from Amazon But cancelled order after reading description
  6. $5 McAfee Anti virus from Amazon
  7. $11 Twenty Piece Baking supply by YiHong on Amazon
  8. $11 Music Stand from Amazon
  9. $30 Cookware set from Macy’s

I will add other items bought in WoodBridge Mall soon. And also reviews on above products.

SD card – flipkart shopping

Hi as I lost my SD card of my camera had to buy one SD card urgently for my camera. I got best price at Flipkart after comparing with Snapdeal and Amazon. Even though Snapdeal quoted less price its delivery charges were high. At flipkart I bought two Sandisk 4 GB memory card for a total of 496. To avail free shipping I had to make the total exceed 500. I really had hard time in searching for a relevant product as most of the products I selected had a different seller and to get free shipping the total should be higher than 500 from same seller ie WS Retail. There was no way I could search for items from WS Retail and sort them. Finally bought Half Girl friend by chetan bhagat for INR 134 and got free shipping. If I compare the total of Snapdeal and Flipkart I got Half girl friend for just 20 Rupees.

I ordered on 2nd november and got it today ie 5th November. Both cards and book neatly packed and in good condition.

The SD card product description should be more detailed as I was not sure whether it will support my cannon camera. But it does support. I was confused as there were many SD cards with 4 GB and classified as Class 1, 2 and so on. I bought class 4 SD card and it does support my camera.

Update – 5th November – I just realized that my Laptop does not recognize the SD card, I had to transfer photos by connecting my camera with laptop !!
